Changing the look of my blog

Changing the look of my blog:

I changed my blog in very sharp green colour for my backgrounds instead of white colour

I click to my title name, choose theme on the left hand side and then click on customize, click in the backgrounds, I can choose and change my background colour, then "Apply to blog" when I click "back to my blog", I can see it's changed
